I saw this gorgeous plant growing in Hawaii. I was drawn to the texture and beautiful color changes that appeared in the fleshy leaves. The white berries give the impression of small pearls placed by nature. I had fun creating a background to complement the cactus like plant.
About Terry Holliday
Watercolor is my first love, my first art experience. Since picking up a watercolor brush at the beckoning of my grandmother; I have tried diligently to study and master the art of painting with this medium. After years of painting with watercolors, I still know there is much to learn. I taught Art for 15 years in two small secondary schools in Texas. Teaching allowed me to be exposed to many other art media. I became very interested and excited about photography, colored pencil, and pen and ink drawing.
